H2Tech: Global Projects Data

Gulf Energy Information’s Global Energy Infrastructure (GEI) database is tracking nearly 1,360 active hydrogen (H2) projects globally. Nearly half of these projects are in Western Europe (47%), followed by Asia and the U.S. In total, these three regions comprise nearly 80% of active H2 project market share globally. When broken down by production pathway, nearly 85% of active projects are green H2 projects, meaning that H2 is produced via renewable energy and electrolysis. Green H2 projects are followed by blue production pathways. H2T
