H2Tech sat down with Alex Habeder, Head of Business Strategy-Sustainable Energy Systems, Siemens Energy to discuss the global hydrogen landscape, including financing projects, Siemen Energy's JV with Air Liquide, electrolyzer developments, securing precious metals and rare Earth elements, and optimizing hydrogen supply chains.
NREL researchers offer idea to improve H2 station availability with predictive model
Consumer confidence in driving H2-fueled vehicles could be improved by having station operators adopt a predictive model that helps them anticipate maintenance needs, according to researchers at the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory and Colorado State University.
H2 production through gas pressure utilization at natural gas transmission network stations
Metering and pressure regulating stations are used in gas transmission pipeline networks to measure gas flow, analyze gas composition at custody transfer points and/or reduce and control the flow pressure into the connected downstream pipeline networks.
Digital real-time H2 ecosystem management
While other industries are amid digital transformations, the H2 ecosystem is a greenfield that can begin operations with transformative technologies in place. They empower people, optimize processes and automate systems to enhance business performance across the enterprise.
