Hydrogenera and Stargate Hydrogen sign agreement for industrial hydrogen projects in Europe

Hydrogenera and Stargate Hydrogen have signed a framework cooperation agreement to collaborate on industrial hydrogen projects across Europe. More than a memorandum of understanding, the partnership is already moving into concrete cooperation.

The agreement brings together two European hydrogen technology companies with complementary strengths. Hydrogenera contributes its expertise in alkaline electrolyzer system manufacturing, while Stargate Hydrogen provides its next-generation alkaline electrolyzer stack technology.

The cooperation supports the next phase of industrial hydrogen adoption, where reliable technology, practical engineering, and long-term project execution are becoming increasingly important.

Under the agreement, the companies will explore selected opportunities related to alkaline electrolysis, hydrogen systems, and industrial project delivery. The collaboration is structured around project-based cooperation, while both companies continue to operate independently.

Complementary strengths. Hydrogenera covers the full chain from electrolyser technology and system design to balance-of-plant engineering, integration, manufacturing, project delivery, and industrial deployment. This expertise enables the company to transform hydrogen production technology into complete systems that operate reliably in demanding industrial environments.

Stargate Hydrogen is an Estonian hydrogen technology company developing advanced alkaline electrolyser stacks for industrial green hydrogen production. Its technology helps customers lower production costs while strengthening Europe's hydrogen supply chain through the elimination of precious metals.

The agreement enables both companies to combine their expertise where it creates the greatest value for customers.

Scope of the cooperation. The cooperation will focus on selected project opportunities where the capabilities of both companies are technically and commercially complementary.

Potential areas of collaboration include alkaline electrolyser stack solutions, system integration, and complete hydrogen system delivery. The companies may also pursue opportunities in industrial applications, demonstration projects, consortium activities, and other initiatives across the hydrogen sector.

The agreement establishes a framework for long-term cooperation. Individual projects, orders, and services will be agreed separately between the companies.
