Nel to expand production capacity at its PEM electrolyzer manufacturing facility
Nel ASA has taken the final investment decision to expand the production capacity at its proton exchange membrane electrolyzer manufacturing facility in Wallingford, Connecticut. The expansion will bring annual production capacity towards 500 MW in 2025.
H2Tech: Projects Update
According to a report by Petroleum Economist, India plans to replace 5 MMtpy of gray H2 consumed in its refining, chemicals, fertilizer and metals sector with green H2 by 2030. The phased approach will help India reach its goal of exporting up to 10 MMtpy of green H2 within that same timeframe.
U.S. DOE encourages Gulf Coast-focused regional clean H2 hub proposal
The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Clean Energy Demonstration encouraged a Texas consortium spearheading the development of a regional clean H2 hub on the U.S. Gulf Coast to submit a full application in response to a Funding Opportunity Announcement designated in the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

ExxonMobil to utilize Topsoe technology to produce low-carbon H2 at mega scale
Topsoe and ExxonMobil have signed an agreement under which Topsoe will deliver its H2 SynCOR technology to ExxonMobil’s planned low-carbon H2 production facility in Baytown, Texas. The technology will enable ExxonMobil to produce H2 at mega scale as well as capture and store more than 98% of its associated CO2 emissions.

Hexagon Purus selected by New Flyer for the H2 bus market in North America
Hexagon Purus will provide its Type 4 H2 storage cylinders for New Flyer’s serially produced H2 fuel cell electric transit bus, the Xcelsior CHARGE H2, enabling a driving range of up to 350 miles/560 km on a single refueling.
