ExxonMobil has announced the next step in the development of the world’s largest low-carbon H2 production facility with a contract award to Technip Energies for front-end engineering and design (FEED). Babcock & Wilcox and Fidelis form global alliance for zero-carbon H2 production

The Babcock & Wilcox Company and Fidelis New Energy have formed a global alliance for technology to produce clean H2. The alliance pairs B&W’s bubbling fluidized bed boiler technology and equipment with Fidelis’ proprietary patent-pending FidelisH2 technologies to produce zero-carbon intensity H2.

H2Tech: Global Projects Data

Gulf Energy Information’s Global Energy Infrastructure database is tracking more than 1,050 H2 projects around the world. Nearly half of these investments are being made in Western Europe, followed by the Asia-Pacific region (21%) and the U.S. (13%).

H2Tech: Projects Update

Scatec and Egypt’s Sovereign Fund’s 100-MW green H2 plant to be developed in Ain Sokhna. A final investment decision on the project is scheduled for 2023. If built, the facility will produce 15,000 tpy of H2 to be converted into 90,000 tpy of green ammonia.
