H2Tech: Global Projects Data

Gulf Energy Information’s Global Energy Infrastructure database is tracking more than 1,050 H2 projects around the world. Nearly half of these investments are being made in Western Europe, followed by the Asia-Pacific region (21%) and the U.S. (13%).

Nel and Statkraft to collaborate to expand the green H2 value chain in Norway

H2 technology company Nel and Statkraft signed a contract for delivery of 40 MW of electrolyzer equipment and will thus collaborate to create a strong value chain for production of green H2 in Norway.

Vertex and Pilkington UK ink major low-carbon H2 supply agreement

Vertex Hydrogen has signed a Heads of Terms offtake agreement for low-carbon H2 with Merseyside glass manufacturer Pilkington UK. St Helens’ Pilkington UK Limited, part of the NSG Group, has led the flat glass sector in the switch towards low-carbon fuels, completing two world-first trials of H2 being fired in a glass furnace.

Niedersachsen Ports, Uniper and TES plan new green gases terminal at Wilhelmshaven

Uniper and TES announced the cooperation with Niedersachsen Ports for the planning of a new large joint import terminal with up to 6 berths for TES and for Uniper. In parallel, Uniper will conduct technical studies that should enable Uniper to import around 2.6 MMtpy of green ammonia.
